Karosta district detailed planning

The main task of the detail planning was to turn Karosta into the most promising developing neighbourhood in Liepāja for the next 10–15 years, returning its historical urban construction significance by combining renovation, reconstruction, remodelling and new constructions, using investments by the Ministry of Defence, Liepāja Municipal Government, Liepāja SEZ and private investors and consciously implementing combined measures for the social recovery of the environment.
